Abstract
The research was conducted in the South Lipatkain Village Kampar Kiri District Kampar Regency. The research objective was to determine the appropriateness of the accounting application in the village government of the south Lipatkain and generally accepted accounting principles. The data used in this study include primary data and secondary data. Primary data were obtained through interviews with the village treasurer as the basis for recording and confirmation in the village. Meanwhile, secondary data is obtained by collecting data edited by the village of Lipatkain Selatan in a form that has been dilled in such as the Village Budget Realization Report. The data collection techniques used were interviews and documentation. Descriptive method is used to analyze the data in this study. Based on the results of the data analysis carried out, it can be concluded that the application of accounting in the village government of the Lipatkain Selatan is not in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
