Abstract
The Sell field is an asset of the JOB-Pertamina Petrochina East Java company. The field phase consists of 2 clusters, one of which is pad B which has one production well that uses an artificial gas lift. Well AEP # 28 is a gas lift well that is part of the B. Sumur AEP # 28 pad located in Bojonegoro City, Tuban Regency, East Java Province. In the initial design of the gas lift well AEP # 28 has a good production rate with 4 unloading valves at a depth of 541 ft, 1017 ft, 1430ft, 1778 ft and 1 valve operation at a depth of 2073 ft with a production rate of 602 BFPD but, under conditions the field is inversely proportional, the well is often shut down and the production rate is only 100-200 Barrels / day this is caused by a decrease in liquid level (low influx) which requires a redesign to overcome the problem. Redesign of the gas lift well AEP # 28 using prosper software developed by Petroleum Expert (PETEX). Input to Prosper software was carried out using pressure volume temperature (PVT) data, reservoir pressure, downhole equipmsent data, inflow performance relations (IPR), and bottom hole temperature. The results of run software prosper found that the design 5 valve unloading was at a depth of 169,14 ft, 698,5 ft, 1179,17 ft, 1613,13 ft, 2002,1 ft, and 1 operating valve at depth 2348,48 ft with the rate of oil production 334 Barrels / day
