Abstract

The process of selecting agricultural and plantation products is generally very dependent on human perception of the color composition factor of the fruit. One of the agricultural and plantation products whose maturity is determined by color is tomato. Then a prototype design will be made that can detect and separate ripe or immature tomatoes using color as a parameter. TCS3200 type color sensor and Arduino Uno R3 technology. This prototype of tomato fruit sorter aims to use technology to help or simplify a job in terms of sorting tomatoes. Where when the tomatoes are placed on the sorter, the tool will automatically sort the fruit. In this test, the function is to find out the results given by the prototype of sorting tomatoes by using objects or fruit as many as 13 ripe tomatoes and 7 unripe tomatoes as test data. The level of accuracy in testing the tomato fruit sorting prototype obtained an accuracy of 95% using 20 testing data.
