Abstract
Hydraulic fracturing is a workover process in the form of fracture formation in rocks that have high pressure but low permeability values accompanied by injection of fracturing fluid or proppant into the fractures that have been made. As technology advances and develops, the hydraulic fracturing method has developed a lot, but the goal remains the same, namely increasing the amount of production from a well in shale formations or tight formations with small and very small porosity and permeability values. The presence of fractures formed by hydraulic fracturing will increase the permeability and porosity of a formation, so that reservoir fluid flow will increase and flow more easily to production wells. This study will discuss the effect of the length and height of fractures made in oil wells on the production of directional wells, using modeling on the tnavigator v18.1 simulator. The results of this study show several scenarios with one stage of hydraulic fracturing in directional production wells. In addition, with the comparison of scenarios, it is possible to determine the impact on the pressure reduction of the equivalent radius around the directional production well.
