Abstract
Augmented Reality is one of the technologies that can describe and combine the real world and the virtual world so that the boundary between the two becomes very thin as if it looks like it is in front of the user. By utilizing augmented reality technology, researchers build architectural applications for the Economy Faculty Islamic University of Riau using ARCore. which purpose is to make it easier for users to see the shape of the building in 3D without having to come to the location. This application can be used indoors and outdoors only if provided and it has a light sensitivity above 1 lux (Lux is a standardized unit of measurement of light level intensity). The architectural building application For the Economy Faculty of the Islamic University of Riau using augmented reality works optimally on the surface of various colors because it makes it easier for the tracking process to detect object patterns and this application cannot track or mark locations if there is no light.
