Abstract

Sustainable production over time will eventually experience a decrease in production caused by a number of factors so that efforts in developing technology to increase production continue to be carried out. The development of technology is carried out from a number of sides of either oil collection methods or equipment that support production activities in well holes and surfaces. A good arrangement of well hole equipment can ensure the flow of oil from the reservoir to the surface does not occur obstacles and can be processed to the next process. The amount of formation pressure received by the well hole can slowly affect the performance of well equipment which causes production to decrease. This causes the production zone to become unproductive and must find a new production zone to be able to continue producing. At Well X, selected a depth of 2483-2493 ft in zone A1 to be re-perforate, then the G6 packer is used to close the production zone that is not productive again and installed at a depth of 2530 ft. Having a type of packer is a permanent packer that is resistant to pressure and temperature of 1972.26 psi and 185 deg F respectively makes oil production increase. Oil production is ranging from 30 BOPD.
