Abstract

The purpose of this study was conducted to determine the efforts of teachers to instill character values in economic learning in SMA N 1 Pujud. The study was carried out in December 2019. The subjects of this study were the Principal / Deputy Principal of the P 1 NBA High School, the economics teacher of the N 1 Pujud High School, one of the students of the 1 N High School in Pujud. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation and researchers as the main instrument. Then the collected data is processed and analyzed with descriptive analysis. The data analysis process begins by examining all available data from various sources. Diverse data is read, studied, analyzed and reduced by making a core summary. After abstracting the data, it is arranged according to the theme of the theme. Then an interpretation is made as a temporary finding. The interim findings are reviewed repeatedly until they become a theory of substance. The results showed that the teacher's effort to instill the values of character in economic learning in SMA N 1 Pujud is to use the stages of school learning that is by using the stages of teaching through the stages of planning, implementation, and evaluation.
