Abstract

The use of two production wells in the LT field resulted in the acquisition of oil production in the LT field which was less than optimal, therefore the management of the oil field was carried out with the aim of draining the hydrocarbons contained therein. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct research first to determine the performance of the reservoir during the production process and to determine the best hydrocarbon drainage strategy in the field, this is expected to provide an increase in hydrocarbon recovery in production. In the LT field with an oil reservoir, optimization of field development is carried out by aligning the performance model with reservoir data, so that the model can be considered to represent the actual reservoir conditions and calculated to the parameters of the physical properties of the reservoir. This study aims to determine oil reserves, determine the appropriate development scenario in order to obtain the optimum recovery factor. The method used in this research is reservoir simulation using sector modeling and data collection including (geology, geophysics, petrophysic, reservoir, production and others), to support the process of mathematically modeling reservoir conditions with the concept of integrating or merging data. With scenarios of 2 existing wells and 2 infill wells at wells one and two plus 1 injection well at point B with STW 1400 STB/day in injection wells, it gives an Np production of 8.57 MMSTB, Np to BC 4.17, Recovery factor 30.6%, RF to BC 14.9, and Cumulative water production of 5.4 MMSTB. This scenario is the best scenario from the LT field compared to other scenarios
