Abstract
Over time the production of the well will experience a decrease in reservoir pressure so that the well no longer has the ability to drain fluid from the reservoir to the surface naturally. The artificial lift method chosen is using a Sucker Rod Pump. The sucker rod pump is a bobbing pump which is one of the methods of artificial lifting in an effort to increase well production. The basic concept in planning the Sucker Rod Pump is the ability of the pump to be used and must be adjusted to the ability of the optimal production rate of the well. The design that will be carried out aims to determine the maximum production flow rate and find out the results of the Sucker Rod Pump design which will later be expected from the installation of the pump to increase the production rate. Through the calculation results, the SWT well produces a flow rate of 574.91 BFPD with a bottom well pressure of 218.31 psi and a maximum production rate of 718.64 BFPD. And the results of the pump design at a depth of 3657.13 ft with a volumetric efficiency of 88.02% and the capacity of the pump or pump displacement obtained is 695.30 BFPD.
