Abstract

This study aims to determine the organizational communication of PT Tunggal Mitra Menggala 2 and the obstacles in organizational communication of PT Tunggal Mitra Menggala 2 during the Covid 19 pandemic. policy for Work From Home (WFH). Some information technologies that can be used as a medium for interpersonal communication are social media such as Instagram, Facebook, line, whatsapp, zoom, and others, but organizational communication in the company continues to experience obstacles. In this study, researchers used field research that directly went to research into the research location. The data analysis model used in this study is descriptive analysis using a qualitative approach, namely to understand the phenomena of what is experienced by the research subject, for example behavior, perception, motivation, action holistically and with descriptions in the form of words and language, at a time. special contexts that are natural and by utilizing natural methods. The results showed, in the organizational communication process at PT Tunggal Mitra Plantation on physical distancing in the Covid-19 pandemic, there were four barriers to communication, namely process barriers, semantic barriers, physical barriers and psychosocial barriers. So, good communication is needed, thoroughness, skill and caution so that communication at work is as expected.
