Abstract
This study aims to produce an Android-based application using the Appypie Platform on Virus Material for Class X High School Students. This research is a type of research and development with the ADDIE approach. The subjects of this study were students of SMA X SMAN 6 Pekanbaru, SMAN 14 Pekanbaru, SMA PGRI Pekanbaru. The research data were obtained from the validation results from material expert validators, media experts, and three biology teachers in class X SMA using the validation sheet provided and student response questionnaires from the results of the limited trial. The results of this study indicate that the quality of the validity of Android-Based Applications using the Appypie Platform on virus material for class X high school students from the results of material expert validation is in the fairly valid category with an average percentage of 60%, the results of the validation of media experts are in the very valid category with an average percentage of 97%, the results of the validation of three class X SMA teachers are in the very valid category with an average percentage of 96.7%, and the test results on students are in the very category valid with an average percentage of 87.91%. Based on these several categories, it can be concluded that the learning media developed are very valid and can be used as learning media that can help the learning process.
