Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of the duties and functions of the Balai Large Drug and Food Control (BBPOM) Pekanbaru in activities supervision of the circulation of cosmetics abroad. The aspects studied regarding communication, resources, disposition and bureaucratic structure. Method This research is a descriptive approach, while the population in this research BBPOM Pekanbaru City employees. Sampling technique using purposive sampling and obtained a sample of employees who has activities in cosmetics supervision totaling 34 people. While data collection techniques for field studies, libraries, observations, interviews, and questionnaire. Data is presented to obtain results in the analysis with using a percentage formula. The results showed that the implementation the duties and functions of the Center for Drug and Food Control (BBPOM) Pekanbaru in the supervision of the circulation of cosmetics abroad the communication aspect has a value of sixty percent or is quite accomplished, human resources have a value of seventy-four percent or are implemented, disposition has a value of seventy-three percent or is implemented and structure bureaucracy has a value of ninety-five percent or implemented.
