Abstract

His study aims to determine the improvement of passing and stopping under football game through lerning variation on students of class VIII A of MTs Hubbul Wathan Rimba Melintang Rokan Hilir District.This research was conducted in semester of academic year 2018/2019. The form of this research is classroom action research. The population in this research is all students of class VIII A of MTs Hubbul Wathan Rimba Melintang Rokan Hilir Districtand the sample in this research is class VIII A of MTs Hubbul Wathan Rimba Melintang Rokan Hilir District consisting of 15 people. Sample selection technique in this research is total sampling. Data collection techniques in this study were conducted by observation techniques, literature techniques and measurement techniques. Technique of data analysis using performance test that is doing the practice of passing and stopping, then result of the test conducted by appraisal. From the implementation of cycle I, there were 10 students who achieved KKM score (67%) and 5 students who had not reached KKM score (33%). Then followed by the implementation of cycle II and the results increased with the number of 13 students who reached KKM (87%) and 2 students who have not reached the KKM (13%). Thus it can be concluded that there is an increase in passing ability under football game through learning variation on students of class VIII A of MTs Hubbul Wathan Rimba Melintang Rokan Hilir District.
