Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate efforts to improve the ability of basic techniques of passing and stopping football through variations in teaching in class X students of An Naas Pekanbaru. The type of this research is CAR. The research subjects in this study were 11 grade X students of An Naas High School Pekanbaru. The research instrument used was an assessment of the performance of passing and stopping. The data analysis technique used is to calculate the value of classical completeness achieved by students. From the results of research and data analysis, this study can be concluded that there is an increase in the ability of basic techniques of passing and stopping football through teaching variations in class X students of An Naas Pekanbaru with the percentage of classical completeness in the first cycle of 72.73% and in the second cycle of 90.91% so there is an increase in the percentage value of 18.18%.
