Abstract
The purpose of this study is to look at motivation to learn physical education. This research uses quantitative descriptive methods. The subjects in this study were SMP Negeri 10 Pekanbaru students with a total of 54 students. The instrument used by researchers was a physical education learning motivation questionnaire for junior high school students consisting of 36 statement items. Analysis of the data used is descriptive statistics to analyze data by describing. The results showed that the motivation to learn physical education at SMP Negeri 10 Pekanbaru was 68.33% which was classified as "Good Enough". The existence of these findings is expected to be an evaluation for related parties in order to foster motivation in order to improve student learning outcomes.
