Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in passing under the volleyball game with the demonstration method of student SMPN 6 Siak hulu Kampar district. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR), which is taken in two cycles. The subject of this research was carried out in the Siak hulu student SMPN 6 class in Kampar district with 27 students. The research data collection was obtained through a practical test to see an increase in students' under passing skills. The results of this study indicate the use of demonstration methods in physical education and sports education in health and recreation can improve student learning skills in the basic techniques of passing under volleyball student SMPN 6 Siak Hulu Kampar district. It is known from the number of students who completed in the first cycle as many as 15 students with a percentage of completeness of 56% and 12 students who did not complete grades with a percentage of 39% average value of 75 and increased in cycle II namely students who completed as many as 24 students with a percentage completeness by 89% and incomplete grades there are 3 students with a percentage of 11% with an average value in cycle I 68 with an increase in cycle II 81. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the study using the demonstration method in physical education and physical education learning sports and recreation can increase passing under the volleyball game of student SMP 6 Siak hulu Kampar district.
