Abstract

For urban areas, transportation plays a decisive role. A good city can be marked, among others, by looking at the condition of its transportation. Good, safe, and smooth transportation not only reflects the orderliness of the city, but also shows the smooth running of the city's economic activities. In this modern era, people are very dependent on public transportation to fulfill their mobility needs, because most people still consider the existence of public transportation important because it is an alternative for people who do not have private vehicles or also traders in carrying their wares. The main problem in this research is how the implementation of the responsibility of the Trans Metro Pekanbaru company for accidents in the transportation of passengers and how the settlement efforts of the Trans Metro Pekanbaru transporter if there is an accident committed by the carrier. This type of research is empirical research through descriptive nature.
