Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of sociodemographic factors, service quality, facilities and location on Hotel Guest Decisions in Staying at Sharia Hotel Sri Indrayani Pekanbaru. Samples were taken with non-probability sampling techniques, in this case the selected respondents were respondents who stayed at Sri Indrayani Sharia Hotel as many as 100 people. Based on the decision of guests staying at the Syariah Hotel Sri Indrayani influenced by sociodemography, service quality, facilities, and location by 42.7%. Partial test results show that: (1) there is a significant influence between sociodemography on guest decisions in staying with a significance value of 0.015 (<0.05), (2) there is a significant influence between service quality on guest decisions in staying with a significance value of 0.002 (<0.05), (3) there is a significant influence between the facilities on the guest decision to stay with a significance value of 0.002 (<0.05), and (4) there is a significant influence between the location of the guest decision on staying with a significance value 0.014 (<0.05) ,. The results of this study provide suggestions to the Sri Indrayani Syariah Hotel in order to improve the facilities contained in the Hotel, because the results of the regression coefficients obtained indicate that the facility variable has the lowest value. Facilities that need to be improved, for example, are architecture and interior design that can attract and make guests comfortable.
