Abstract
This study aims to determine the suitability of the application of accounting conducted by a gold shop in Siak Hulu Kampar District with the concept- basic concepts of accounting. The data collected is primary data and secondary. Data collection methods are structured interviews, documentation and observation. While the data analysis used is descriptive method. Based on the results of research and discussion it can be concluded that the application of accounting in the gold shop business in Kampar has not been in accordance with basic concepts of accounting.
