Abstract

This study aims to produce a learning device with Problem-Based Learning (PBL) on a valid two-variable linear equation system material so that it can be used by teachers and students in the learning process. This research method is Research and Development (R&D) and the ADDIE model which was later modified into the ADD model due to Covid-19, namely 1) Analysis, 2) Design, and 3) Development. The learning tools developed are in the form of a Leason Plan (RPP) and Student Worksheets (LKPD). The data collection technique used is non-test in the form of a validation sheet. Validation was carried out by two lecturers of Mathematics Education FKIP UIR and one mathematics teacher at SMP Negeri 20 Pekanbaru. From the results of the study, the results of the RPP validation were 83.645% with the Valid category and the LKPD validation results were 82% with the Valid category. This development research resulted in a Problem-Based Learning (PBL)-based mathematics learning tool that was tested for validity.
