Abstract
This study is a quantitative study with a type of correlation research that aims to find out the contribution of power explosiveness to long jump results in UT IBNU al-MUBAROQ junior high school students. In this study, researchers conducted two types of tests, namely the standing broard jump test to find out the explosive contribution of the power and the long jump test. Based on the results of the study conducted, from the results of the correlation test obtained the value of r-calculated by 0.660 and greater than the r-table which is 0.632. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is a significant contribution or relationship between the explosive power to the results of long jumps in students of grade VIII SMP UT IBNU AL MUBAROQ.
