Abstract

This study aims to determine the contribution of arm muscle explosive power and hand eye coordination to the long service ability of PB Bank Riau Kepri Pekanbaru badminton which amounted to 15 people. The instrument in this study used the Underhand Medicine Ball throw, tennis ball throw and long serve tests for badminton. The calculation results obtained that the correlation index with the results of the X1 data against Y was = 0.72, the relationship level rcount = 0.72 > rtable = 0.514, thus the results obtained were significant which had a contribution of 51.82%. For X2 to Y is 0.69, the level of relationship rcount = 0.69 > 0.514, thus the results obtained are significant with a contribution of 41.13. Then the contribution of arm muscle explosive power and hand eye coordination to the long service ability of PB Bank Riau Kepri Pekanbaru badminton is 62.79% with a relationship level of rcount = 0.79 > rtable = 0.514, thus the results obtained are significant.
