Abstract

This research was conducted on 17 students of volleyball extracurricular at SMP Negeri 12 Pekanbaru City, this study aimed to determine the contribution of legan muscle strength and eye and hand coordination to the lower serve of volleyball extracurricular students at SMP Negeri 12 Pekanbaru City. The type of research used in this research is correlation. The research instrument used was a push up test, a baseball throw and catch test and a volleyball bottom serve test. Based on the results of data analysis and hypothesis testing, for the contribution of arm muscle strength to the volleyball bottom serve. With R Count 0.27 < R Table 0.482 with a KD of 7.48%, there is no contribution. Then there is a Contributionof Eye and Hand Coordination with R Count 0.175 < R to Service Results below Table 0.482 with KD of 3.06%, while the contribution of arm muscle strength and eye and hand coordination to service results under students of SMP Negeri 12 Pekanbaru City with R Count 0 .32 < R Table 0.482 with KD of 10.69%. Theremaining 89.31% is influenced by other factors.
