Abstract
Basically the delinquency of the child refers to a form of behavior of the child that is not in accordance with the norms that live in the community. This is because every human being basically will experience the urge to commit violations in certain circumstances, basically the average person does not happen a tangible in deviant behavior, because a person will be seen normal mostly if someone can prevent themselves from impulsee to do deviant behavior. Children delinquency is most common at the age where they are in junior high school and senior high school because at this age adolescents are still unstable and vulnerable to outside influences and easy to be persuaded to deviate. Travis Hirchi (1969) as a pioneer of social control theory, said that “criminal behavior is a failure os social groups such as family, school, peers to tie or bond with indivuals”, it means “the individual is not seen as someone who is intrinsically compliant with the law; but adheres to the antithetical perspective in which people must learn not to commit a crime”. According to Hirschi there are four main elements, namely : Attachment (Love), Commitment (Responsibility) , involvement (Engagement), and Believe (Confidence).
