Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the utilization of productive zakat funds and the welfare of mustahik at the Pekanbaru City Baznas and their effects. The data analysis used in this research is descriptive quantitative analysis. The research was conducted by conducting interviews and distributing questionnaires. To facilitate the research the author uses a simple random sampling method, namely random sampling. The results of this study are the amount of productive zakat distribution by the Pekanbaru City Baznas for 5 years, namely from 2016 to 2020 experiencing fluctuations, which means that there is an increase and decrease in the amount of zakat distribution. This depends on the amount of zakat available. The number of mustahiq during 2016 to 2020 also fluctuated. Zakat given to mustahiq can be used as capital to carry out an economic activity, namely to grow the economic level and productivity potential of mustahiq. The results of the t-test showed that the utilization of productive zakat funds had a significant effect on the welfare of mustahik at the Pekanbaru City Baznas.
