The data collection method used a fighting power scale adapted from the theory of Stoltz (2000) and a stress scale using the DASS. The population in this study were students at the Islamic University of Riau who worked with a sample of 100 students. The sampling technique used is Simple Random Sampling. The results of the analysis showed a correlation of -.300* with a sig value of 0.002 (p < .05). This shows a negative correlation between fighting power and stress in students working at the Islamic University of Riau. The results of this analysis test state that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected so that the hypothesis in this study is accepted.
