Abstract
The phenomenon of online game addiction in adolescents must be balanced with high regulations so that no negative behavior occurs in adolescents. Addiction to online games triggers crime or causes the students not to do activities that should be done by them in school. This research was aimed at describing / providing an overview of the self-regulation of online game addicts on the students of SMAN 1 Rambah Rokan Hulu (a quantitative descriptive study). The sampling technique used in this research was the probability sampling technique. The sample of this research was the 85 students aged between 14-19 years old at SMA N 1 Rambah Rokan Hulu. The data analysis technique used was a descriptive analysis. The data collection technique of this research was by using a scale model. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that the level of self-regulation of online game addicts on the students of SMAN 1 Rambah Rokan Hulu is still relatively low. This indicates that they are still unable to actualize themselves by displaying a series of actions namely in playing the online game.
