Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of training on the performance of employees of Perum Jamkrindo Pekanbaru Branch Office. This research uses descriptive quantitative method that uses primary data and secondary data obtained through interviews and questionnaires. The population in this study were all employees of Perum Jamkrindo Pekanbaru Branch Office with a sample of 34 people as respondents using the census method, ie the total population was sampled. Analysis of the data used is simple linear regression analysis. The results showed that training (X) 0.614 had a significant effect on employee performance (Y) of 2.599 and the coefficient of determination (R²) showed a figure of 0.834 which means that training contributed 83.4% to employee performance while the remaining 16, 6% is influenced by other factors.
