Abstract

Leave is only given to any ASN whose working period is at least 1 year, but in childbirth leave is not limited to every ASN woman whose work period has not been one year. ASN was given the length of time for giving birth, which is 3 months but at the state elementary school in Pekanbaru city still found excessive teacher in taking the time of the cutes. Further more, when the time of leave is associated with an exclusive granting of breast milk, it becomes unaligned. The main problem in this research is how the procedure to take delivery of maternity leave for ASN in pekanbaru cityeducation office, and what sanctions are given for ASN in violation of the rules in the implementation of the leave permit giving birth in pekanbaru city education office. The research method used is observational research by means of surveys that are done directly by the way of dropping the field to collect data in the form of questionnaires and interviews. As for the nature, this research is descriptive that is research aimed at describing the fact arstate of field. The result of this research is the maternity leave at the state elementary school of Pekanbaru basically went well and has been in accordance with the legislation specified. Although there are still some short comings, among them still found a teacher who took an excessive period of giving birth, but about it has been clearly arranged regarding the length of time of the leave, and about the provision of exclusive ASI should the central government, the district and private parties increasingly sensitive to the needs of mothers working. Because if their rights are fulfilled, their productivity will also significantly increase.
