Abstract

This study aims to describe the reconstruction ol Rakudo Bono Dance in Sanggar Panglirna. Pangkalan Kerinci District, Pelalarvan Regency, Riau Province. This research is a descriptive analysis research based on qualitative data. The subjects of the study were the dancers and adrninistrators of the commander's studio in Pangkalan Kerinci District. Pelalarvan Regencv. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques by presenting data, reducing data, and drawing conclusions. The theory used is the Djelantic theory that reconstruction is intended to create a nelv one liom *'hat once existed but at present does not exist or almost does not exisl anymore. The purpose of this new creation is to redevelop an art that has not been renewed for a long time. In this case, reconstruction means the return or reaffangement of e,xisting materials to their original place. The results of this study indic.ate that the Bakudo Bono dance is one type of creative dance that was developed fiora the movernent of the zapin Mala.v tradition. The storyline is taken frorn the legend of pla,ving bono r,vaves that occurred in Teluk Meranti. Feiaiau,an Regency. The tefifl Bakricio is a person wiro is piaying bono waves happily using a suriloard (Surting). while Bono is a wave or rvaves that arise due to the meeting of three current lvaves. The costumes used by the male dancers are the brackets civet weasel shi* and the tbmale dancers wear the kebaya lejo Malay shirt with pants. The music used is gambus, violin, violin, accordion, drum, drum, barbuka, marwas, tambourine, and ablution.
