Abstract
The Wedding Martial in Riau Province is a martial art performance that is part of the Malay tribal tradition. In Parit Datuk Dewa Village, Rokan Hilir Regency, there is a Bridal Silat performance in the process of the wedding tradition. This study aims to find out how silat is performed in a wedding ceremony in Parit Datuk Dewa Village, Batu Pambar District, Rokan Downstream Regency, Riau Province. the author uses an approach with an interactive qualitative mode to support the course of the goals to be achieved and make it easier for the author to conduct research. The Bridal Silat performance is performed by two fighters from both sides of the bride and groom with odd sessions, each session consisting of two fighters. at least three sessions. The fighters wear Malay clothes with Tanjak and Songket cloth without footwear. Done in the yard of the bride's house or in the field. Silat performances are accompanied by recorded music from Malay silat.
