Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing and analyzing the implementation of the e-Planning system in Meranti Islands Regional Development Planning Agency and to find out and analyze the inhibition of the implementation of the e-Planning system in Meranti Islands Regional Development Planning Agency This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques are carried out with observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis used is a descriptive method of analytics. The results showed that the implementation of the e-Planning system implementation at the Meranti Islands Regional Development Planning Agency was quite good but in the process there are still some common obstacles such as human resources that are less competent in the field of computerization due to the absence of special training from Meranti Islands Regional Development Planning Agency, provinces to ministries. Though the training will greatly help the creation of reliable human resources in the management of e-Planning systems at the Meranti Islands Regional Development Planning Agency. The most dominant factors inhibiting the e-Planning system at the Meranti Islands Regional Development Planning Agency are the job mutation process often enough that it takes a long adaptation process for the new team to manage the e-Planning system in the organization of the regional. And also the internet network factor is still an obstacle to the implementation of the e-Planning system at the Meranti Islands Regional Development Planning Agency.
