Abstract

The purpose of this research is to produce mathematics learning tools based on Realistic Mathematical Education (RME) in the rectangular material of class VII junior high school students in the form of lesson plan and Student Worksheet which have been tested for validity. This development research uses the R&D method. The development model used is Plomp, the development of this Plomp model consists of five phases, namely: Initial Investigation phase, Design phase, Realization/construction phase, Test phase, Evaluation and Revision, implementation. However, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, researchers only used four phases. The data collection instrument used was non-test using a questionnaire validation sheet for RPP and LKPD validation. The data collection technique used is the validation of learning devices. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis technique. The results of the validation analysis of research conducted by three validators obtained an average lesson plan validation for each aspect of 79% with a valid category and for student worksheet validation in each aspect it was 81% with a valid category. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the development of learning tools using Realistic Mathematical Education (RME) has been tested for validity. �
