Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the contribution of arm muscle power and eye-hand coordination to the ability of long service badminton in male athletes aged 10-15 years PB Bank Riau Kepri Pekanbaru. This type of research is correlational research. The population in this study were all athletes from PB Bank Riau Kepri Pekanbaru, totaling 50 people. The sample in this study were all male athletes aged 10-15 years PB Bank Riau Kepri Pekanbaru totaling 12 people. The instruments of this research are underhand medicine ball throw, throwing and catching tennis balls, and badminton long service tests. The conclusions in this study are: 1) there is a significant contribution of arm muscle power with the result of long service playing badminton, the contribution is only 41.2%. 2) There is a significant contribution of eye-hand coordination with long service results in badminton, the percentage of which is 41%. 3) There is a significant contribution of arm muscle power and eye-hand coordination together with the results of long service badminton game male athletes aged 10-15 years PB Bank Riau Kepri Pekanbaru. The percentage is 51.96%
