Abstract

Mathematics is one of the subjects that are often considered difficult and boring for learners. This is because mathematics is a science with abstract objects of study. One solution that can overcome this assumption is the development of an interactive multimedia-based learning medium in order to help learners in understanding abstract mathematical learning materials to be concrete. The development of interactive multimedia-based mathematical learning media using Smart Apps Creator 3 is included in research and development or R&D. This research aims to produce interactive multimedia-based mathematical learning media using Smart Apps Creator 3 that is valid or worth using. This learning media discusses the material of building a flat side room of class VIII junior high school. The development model used is a procedural development model that refers to the APPED development model that is modified as needed in the research process into four stages, namely initial research analysis, design, production and evaluation. The data collection instrument used is in the form of a learning media validation sheet. The data collection technique used is validation data by 4 validators. Data analysis techniques are carried out, namely learning media validation analysis. The average analysis of learning media validation was 86.46%. Based on the results of the data analysis obtained it can be concluded that the validity results of interactive multimedia-based mathematical learning media using Smart Apps Creator 3 on the material to build a flat side room of class VIII Junior High School which is included in the category is very valid.
