Abstract

Code mixing often takes place in an informal setting or condition daily or daily conversation in a relaxed atmosphere, like a student who outside the classroom, in the canteen, or in a school environment with others the student. Different when in class, when with teacher or conversation between students and teachers certainly occur formal atmosphere, but fellow students can an informal conversation. The problem under study in this scientific work are: (1) How do the VII grade students' speech codes mix in SMP Tri Pekanbaru Bhakti Academic Year 2018/2019; (2) What are the causative factors the occurrence of code mixing in the speech of Grade VII students at Tri Bhakti Middle School Pekanbaru Academic Year 2018/2019? The objectives of this study are to: (1) For know the mixed code of speech of students of class VII in SMP Tri Bhakti Pekanbaru Academic Year 2018/2019; (2) To determine the causative factors mixed code in the speech of grade VII students at SMP Tri Bhakti Pekanbaru Tahun Doctrine 2018/2019. The approach used in this research is Qualitative approach. This research is included in the field research. Field research is an intensive effort to collect data and information accompanied by analysis and retesting of all that has been collected. Theory used in this study were Suandi (2014), Chaer and Leonie Agustina (2010). The results showed that the conclusion was that Tuturan Grade VII students in Pekanbaru Tri Bhakti Junior High School Year 2018/2019 are available mix the codes derived from Malay as much as 3 pieces, the Minang language as many as 47 pieces, as many as 8 Javanese languages, as many as 11 Batak languages, 4 Betawi languages, 1 Sundanese language, and languages England as much as 2 pieces. Factors causing code mixing in speech Grade VII students in Pekanbaru Tri Bhakti Junior High School Year 2018/2019 are limitation factor of code usage, more term use factor popular, speaker factors and personal speakers, talk partner factors, factors function and purpose, as well as factors just to be prestigious.
