Abstract

The quality of public services can be measured by the level of community satisfaction. The performance of ASN in carrying out their duties as civil servants will be largely determined by internal and external factors. This study meant to find out how the variables of leadership, work environment, and competence affect the quality of the staffs at at The BPKAD of Pelalawan Regency. This research was conducted with a quantitative approach in which the independent variables (leadership, work environment, and competence) and the dependent variable (quality of work) were measured using a Likert scale through questionnaire. Measurements were made to the staffs at the BKPAD as many as 50 people whos the sample in this study. The sampling technique used is nonprobability sampling with a purposive sampling type. The quantitative data from the measurement results then analyzed using Linear Regresion to determine the magnitude of the influence of the independent variable towards the dependent variable. The test results show that simultaneously there is a positive and significant relationship between the variables of work environment, competence and leadership style on work quality with an r-square value of 63%. The regression equation produced in this study is Y = 5.865 + 0.652 X1 + 0.688 X2 + 0.686 X3.
