Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of consumer perceptions to the consumer purchasing decisions at the FS Store Ujungbatu. The population in this study were all visitors of the FS Store Ujungbatu whose number was unlimited (cannot be estimated with certainty). The sample is part of the population that is the source of data from the study. Considering the total population whose number is not known with certainty, the researchers determined the number of samples using the Hair formula, according to Hair in (Permana, 2018) if the number of study samples was unknown to the exact population, a minimum of 5 (five) times the analyzed variables or indicators. So in this study there are 12 indicator variables, thus the large number of samples is 12 x 5 = 60 respondents. While the sampling technique uses accidental sampling method. Data analysis uses simple linear regression method. The results of the study stated that consumers' perceptions had a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions for fashion products at FS Store Ujungbatu. R Square value of 44.60% while the remaining 55.40% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study such as price factors, product quality factors, promotions and so forth.
