Abstract

The purpose of this research to produce learning devices in the form of lesson plans (RPP) and Student Worksheets (LKPD) with the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on matrix material for class XI SMA that have been tested for validity. The background of the problem in this research is that the RPP do not explain the material clearly, the steps of the method used have not been seen, and the RPP are not used for one meeting but several meetings that are cobined into one. While in learning the teacher does not use LKPD and only uses a package book that contains questions and does not contain learning steps that can encourage students to solve a problem. Development of learning devices in this study using the Plomp development model. Due to the research being conducted during the Covid-19 pandemic, the researchers limited the development procedure to 4 stages, namely: 1) initial Investigation Phase; 2) Design Phase; 3) Construction/Realization Phase; and 4) Revision, Evaluation, Test Phase. The data collection instruments of this study were the RPP validation sheet and the LKPD validation sheet. The data collection technique used is validation data from 2 lecturers of Mathematics Education FKIP UIR and 1 Mathematics teacher at SMA Negeri 2 Kelayang. The data analysis techenique used is quantitative descriptive data. From the results of the study, the results of the RPP validation were 91,32% with a very valid category and for the LKPD validation results of 86,04% with a very valid category. From the results of this study, it was found that the learning device with the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model was tested for validity.
