Abstract

The research entitled Criminological Review of Dealers in The Sale and Sale of Nakotika in the Tualang Police Jurisdiction, Siak reviewed the criminal cases of drug dealers that occurred in the law area of The Tualang Police Of Siak District. The problem of narcotics that has penetrated all levels of society ranging from children to adults to ordinary people and officials, so that in the eradication of narcotics is not only from the government or law enforcement officials but also must involve the entire community in taking action to prevent and eradicate the distribution of narcotics in the community. This writing aims to find out the causative factors of the emergence of narcotics dealers by reviewing using criminology, to find out the modus operandi of drug dealers and how to counter narcotics dealers in the Tualang region. This research writing uses observational research research methods with a sociological juridical approach that is in obtaining empirical legal knowledge directly to conduct observation actions and / or interviews to the field / on the object concerned. Based on the results obtained from legal research methods, the factors that cause the occurrence of drug trafficking crimes are influenced by several factors including family factors, self-factors (internal), environmental factors and social association, economic factors, geographical factors, and factors in the presence of media and goods. The modus operandi of narcotics dealers in the Tualang region such as leaving narcotics in quiet places or in places that have been agreed between buyers and dealers, meeting in person in a quiet place, and hiding narcotics in homes/contracts. Countermeasures made in countering narcotics distribution in the Tualang region, namely there are efforts to foster (pre-emtive efforts), prevention efforts (preventive efforts), and lastly enforcement efforts (repressive efforts) are continued efforts made by the Tualang sector police to crack down on criminal acts of drug dealers.
