Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how is online learning on English subject of Lesson plan, learning steps and assessment component during the Covid- 19 pandemic at SMAN 2 Tanah Putih. Online learning is one of way to convey learning in covid-19 pandemic. With online learning we can study at home and safety but online learning English during the corona virus disease (Covid-19) pandemic sometime still not going well in various schools. So in this study the researchers tried to look at online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic, especially the application of the lesson plan component, learning steps component and assessment component that occurred at SMAN 2 Tanah Putih. This research used descriptive quantitative research. The data was taken XI grade at SMAN 2 Tanah putih. The research took 27 students’ respondent and 2 teacher English respondent as a sample. In this research used questionnaire as research instrument. The researcher found in class XI grade in SMAN 2 Tanah Putih on online learning especially on lessons plan, learning step and assessment during the Covid-19 pandemic. Based on the result from students’ respondent answer with the percentage result by using Scale Likert get the score 78% and the result from English teacher respondent get the score 83%. Then the result based on SPSS version 25 descriptive analysis get the score ranging 3.42-4.41( Good) in students’ respondent an 4.42 – 5.50 ( Very good) in English teachers respondent.
