Abstract
This study aims to determine the correlations between social support dan entrepreneurship in psychology students at the Islamic University of Riau. The hypothesis in this study is that there is a positive and significant correlations between social support and entrepreneurship in psychology students at the Islamic University of Riau. The subjects in this study were 234 people who were psychology students at the Islamic University of Riau with an age range of 18-23 years. Data collection in this study used a social support scale of 9 items with a reliability value of 0,869 and a entrepreneurship scale with a reliability value of 0,876. The analytical method used in this research is spearmen rank ordwe correlations analysis. The results of statistical analysis obtained a correlation value of 0.432 (>0.05) with a significance of 0.000 (p<0.05). This, it shows that there is a significant positive correlations between social support and entrepreneurship in psychologocy students at the Islamic University of Riau. This means that the higher the social support, thr higher the entrepreneurship and vice versa. The effective contribution of the social support variable to the entrepreneurship variable is 0.220, its meaning that social support provides an effective contribution 22 % to the entrepreneurship variable while the rest is influenced by others factors.
