Abstract

Mathematical learning is intended as a deliberate design process with the aim of creating an atmosphere of a classroom or school environment that allows students to study mathematics at school. Based on the results of observations made students are more inclined to learn to ask friends and discuss as they are. Researchers aim to determine the effect of cooperative learning models with the Tink Talk Write (TTW) strategy on mathematics learning outcomes for Grade VII students of SMP Nurul Falah Pekanbaru in the academic year of 2015/2016. Benruk this research is quasi-experimental, class VII3 research sample as an experimental class that is given treatment using TTW learning models and class VII 2 as a control class using conventional learning models. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out by observation and test techniques. Data were analyzed using inferential analysis namely N-Gain and non-Parametric N-Gain normality tests. Non-parametric result data N-Gain experimental class and dick class obtained: Z count = -6.58> Z table = 1.96 this means Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted, so there is an effect of cooperative learning model with TTW strategy on learning outcomes student mathematics
