Abstract

This research is motivated by the use of a number of learning applications to support online learning. E-learning web-based learning was carried out at SMK PGRI Pekanbaru due to Covid-19. The focus of the problem in this research is how to use e-learning media in learning Indonesian. This study aims to explore and elaborate web-based e-learning Indonesian language learning at SMK PGRI Pekanbaru. The theory used in this research is Wahyuningsih & Makmur's theory of learning in e-learning and web-based learning theory of e-learning Rusman, et al. This study uses a qualitative approach with phenomenological methods, namely describing all forms of actions and phenomena carried out by the subjects studied in the implementation of e-learning web-based learning. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is the Stevick-Cosizzi-Kenn theory. The result of this study is that web-based e-learning implemented at SMK PGRI Pekanbaru has not been implemented effectively because it is affected by a bad internet network. The e-learning web learning media used are Whatsapp, Google Classroom, Gmail, Google meet, Zoom. Teachers get a different experience when using e-learning web applications. The advantages of e-learning web-based learning can be carried out anywhere and anytime. The drawback is that you can't meet face to face. Indonesian lessons that are easily taught through web e-learning are biographical texts, exposition texts, and folk stories. The materials that are difficult to teach are debate and drama. Google Classroom is an e-learning web application recommended by teachers at SMK PGRI Pekanbaru. Web-based learning e-learning provides new experiences and innovations for teachers in teaching.
