Abstract

Financial Technology (Fintech) is a financial system technology. GO-PAY and OVO are Fintech types of payments that are ranked first and second in Indonesia as well as in Banda Aceh. Based on the theory of TAM (Theory Acceptance Model), perceptions of usefulness and convenience are the main constructs in the use of a technology. The research method used is descriptive with a cross- sectional survey. Collecting data using a questionnaire with 15 statements. From the results of the study, it was found that 71% of respondents were in the very good category on perceived usefulness and 70.25% was included in the very good category on perceived ease of use. The conclusion is that the people of Banda Aceh City believe that Fintech is useful and easy to use in everyday life. Keywords: Perception of Usability, Perception of Ease, Financial Technology. The presence of fintech opens up opportunities for the public to more easily access various financial services efficiently. You see, fintech services can be accessed only by using the internet. In order for the development of fintech companies in Indonesia to run properly, OJK as a financial services institution requires all fintech companies to register to obtain operational permits. Fintech companies that are licensed and supervised by OJK and AFPI required to follow applicable regulations and provisions. If found to have committed a violation, OJK has the authority to impose sanctions up to revoking the company's operating license. Unfortunately, over time, fake fintech companies, aka illegal fintechs, have emerged which are very disturbing to the public.
