Abstract

This study aims to produce mathematics learning tools in the form of a Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) and Student Worksheets (LKPD) with a Problem Based Learning (PBL) Learning Model accompanied by a Visual Thinking Approach of class VIII MTs students that have been tested for validity. The development of learning tools in this study uses the development or R&D method using the Plomp model, namely: 1) Initial Investigation Phase, 2) Design Phase, 3) Realization / Construction Phase, 4) Test Phase, Evaluation, Revision, and 5) Implementation Phase . The research data collection instruments were the RPP validation sheet and the LKPD validation sheet. The data collection technique used was validation data from 2 Mathematics Education lecturers, FKIP UIR and 2 Mathematics teachers at MTs Masmur Pekanbaru. The data analysis technique used is validation data analysis. This product is only limited to measuring validity and has not been tested due to the Covid-19 pandemic, so researchers cannot carry out the product trial process. From the research, it was found that the validation result of RPP was 82.61% with very valid category and LKPD was 87.05% with very valid category. From the research results, it was found that mathematics learning tools with Problem Based Learning (PBL) Learning Model accompanied by a Visual Thinking Approach that were tested for their validity. 05% with very valid category.
