Abstract

By linking Riau Malay culinary in mathematics learning, students can find out about their own culture, so that the realization of Riau's vision and mission to produce mathematical learning tools in the form of Learning Implementation Plans (RPP) and Student Worksheets (LKPD) with Realistic Mathematics Approach (PMR) based on Riau Malay Culinary class V SD Negeri 22 Kembung Luar which is tested for its validity and practicality. Development of learning tools in research using R & D methods that have been modified by researchers which consist of (1) potential and problems; (2) data collection; (3) product design; (4) design validity; (5) design revisions; (6) product testing; (7) product revisions. The instruments of this study were RPP validation sheets, LKPD validation sheets, teacher response questionnaires, student response questionnaires, and learning implementation questionnaires. The trial was conducted from May 28, 2018 to May 30, 2018 towards the fifth grade students of SD Negeri 22 Kembung Luar to 22 students. From the results of the study, the results of the validity of the RPP were 78.56% with fairly valid criteria and the validity of the LKPD was 74.99% with quite valid criteria. The results of RPP practicality amounted to 93.75% with very practical criteria obtained from teacher response questionnaires, while the results of LKPD practicality were 89.11% with very practical criteria obtained from student response questionnaires. The average practicality of learning devices is 91.43% with very practical criteria. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that this development research produced a mathematical learning device with a realistic mathematical approach (PMR) based on Riau Malay culinary class V at SD Negeri 22 Kembung Luar which tested its validity and practicality.
