Abstract

This study discusses the supervision carried out by the Center for Drug and Food Control in Pekanbaru on the Distribution of Traditional Medicines in Pekanbaru, the assessment indicators that are used include Setting Standards, Measuring Job Implementation (evaluating, and Enacting and Improving, This research uses Desk-descriptive Survey with the Quantitative method, this method can be categorized as descriptive, namely prioritizing the questionnaire list as a means of collecting data and the collected data is then analyzed.The location of the research carried out by population groups and samples in this study, namely BBPOM employees numbering 3 people and Managers There are 18 traditional medicine shop facilities in this study, two sampling techniques are used, namely the census technique for BBPOM employees and Purposive sampling techniques.The types and techniques I have used use questionnaire techniques, interviews, and observation and secondary data through documents, and paint While the data analysis technique that the author uses frequency table tools, the results of the research that researchers found BBPOM's supervision of the circulation of traditional drugs in Pekanbaru have not run optimally due to a lack of resources to supervise and the extent of the supervision area currently handled BBPOM which is all Riau, therefore based on the results that the researchers found BBPOM Supervision of the circulation of Traditional drugs was in the rating of Enough Role. Recommendations that need to be considered are increasing the number of offices and officers in each region so that BBPOM can focus on its duties in protecting consumers.
