Abstract
This study aims to determine the working relationship between the village government and LAD in Kelapapati Village. Regulation of the Minister of Home Affairs No. 18 of 2018 concerning LKD and LAD also provides space to further strengthen the working relationship between the village government and traditional institutions to preserve the values of art and cultural customs that are the foundation of people's lives. This study uses the theory of Rahman et al, there are several indicators that can be seen such as communication, coordination, partnership, and social control that are in line with the supporting factors in influencing a work relationship. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that the working relationship between the village government and LAD in preserving values and customs has been implemented but is not optimal, the village government and traditional institutions have not contributed to implementing the working relationship, the village government has not been able to carry out an equal relationship with traditional institutions in carrying out cooperative relationships, lack of control and control within the community regarding values and customs as well as the participation of traditional institutions in supervising the running of village government. It is hoped that socialization to the community will be carried out, increasing working relationships that are increasingly open and mutually beneficial and beneficial between the village government and village traditional institutions and follow in supervising the operation of the village government so that they can contribute to the preservation of values and customs in the village of Kelapapati.
