Abstract

This research was motivated bythe problems about learning achievement that happened to students at Islamic junior high school boarding school Ar-Rummani Kubang Raya, Kampar. One of the students’ problems in fiqh lesson was learning achievement that students’ competence after they received learning experience. Then, learning achievement symptoms as follows: students could not give attention to teacher when explaining lesson, students could not have interest to follow fiqh lesson, students had lack of understanding in learning fiqh. In solving this problem, it used recitation method that suitable with boarding school ArRummani’s students need. The purpose in this research examined to know the influence of recitation method on students’ learning achievement in Fiqh lesson at Islamic Junior High School Boarding School Ar-Rummani Kubang Raya, Kampar. This research was quantitative with correlational approach. This research involved 89 population, and the technique to collect the data by using questionnaire, test, and documentation. From simple regression analysis with significant score smaller than 0.05 where p= 0.000<0.05, and Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. It could be meant that there was any influence of recitation method on students’ learning achievement in fiqh lesson at Islamic Junior High School Boarding School Ar-Rummani Kubang Raya, Kampar. The influence score between X variable (recitation method) and Y variable (learning achievement) in 0.625 or 62.5% and classified in range 0.060-0.799 with strong category. It meant that the influence of recitation method on students’ learning achievement in fiqh lesson at Islamic Junior High School Boarding School ArRummani Kubang Raya, Kampar was in “strong” category.
